Christian Laukien studied business administration at Georg-August-University in Göttingen and RWTH Aachen University. Previously he finished an apprenticeship as industrial clerk.
Since 2013 Christian Laukien has been working for the School of Economics and Business and the Teaching and Research Unit for Economics and Social History and History of Technology as a research assistant.
His research interests are environmental shift, path dependence and strategic decision-making.
At the end of September 2017 Christian Laukien leaves the Research Unit for Economics and Social History and History of Technology.
